ROUSE is a monthly concert series which features an all-female line-up, and raises money for charities supporting women. Each month, 50% or more of the concert’s ticket sales will be donated to a select charity which supports women. ROUSE rotates through venues in New York City, and aims to select charities based on the communities surrounding the venue’s neighborhood.

Lunch-time Film Screening
Bring your lunch to Sanctuary and watch Food Chains, a powerful, feature-length documentary about the conditions of farm workers in the US and the efforts being made to change them. Directed by Sanjay Rawal, Executive producers include Eva Longoria and Eric Schlosser. Producer, Smriti Keshari will be present to host a brief Q&A following the film.
Lalela, an organization devoted to empowering at-risk youths through the arts, will be on-site sharing information about their work. Scarves made with patterns designed by students from their programs will be available for sale.
